The Arboretum de Balaine (20 hectares – 49 acres) was created in 1804 by Aglaia Adanson, daughter of naturalist Michel Adanson, as an English-style park on surrounding a mansion inherited her father. Jingo-ji is a Buddhist temple in Kyoto. The temple is located above the Kiyotaki River A long set of stairs leads down to the river, and a short bridge leads across it. A similar set of stairs leads up to the gate of the temple.
